Are you an enthusiastic and dedicated Teaching Assistant looking for your next rewarding role? Teaching Personnel are working closely with a welcoming and supportive Primary School in Poulton-le-Fylde who are seeking a Year 3 Teaching Assistant to join their team after February half term.
About the Role:
This is a general TA position within a Year 3 classroom. The successful candidate will work alongside the class teacher to support learning, maintain a positive classroom environment, and contribute to the overall progress of pupils.
In addition, you will be required to:
* Deliver small-group interventions to help boost attainment in core subjects.
* Provide 1:1 support for children who may require additional guidance with learning, focus, or emotional regulation.
* Assist with planning and preparation of learning materials.
* Contribute to assessments and feedback alongside the teacher.
The Ideal Candidate Will:
* Have previous experience working with primary-aged children, ideally within Key Stage 2.
* Be patient, nurturing, and able to build strong relationships with pupils.
* Show initiative and confidence in delivering targeted intervention sessions.
* Have strong communication skills and be able to work collaboratively with the class teacher and wider staff team.
* Hold (or be willing to obtain) a valid DBS registered on the update service.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
