Property People Investments is a property business focused on providing quality housing which involves full refurbishments, extension, maintenance and improvement work. Portfolio is primarily in the North West London region.
Role Overview:
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Builder (Multi-Skilled Tradesperson) to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a broad skill set in construction and building trades, capable of handling various tasks involved in property development and maintenance.
Key Responsibilities:
• Performing maintenance work for the portfolio.
• Install plumbing fixtures, woodwork structures, fittings, and set glass in frames.
• Erect and repair fencing; maintain and repair steeples, industrial chimneys, and other high structures.
• Conduct maintenance and repair tasks on various structures, ensuring compliance with safety standards.
• Collaborate with project managers and other tradespeople to ensure timely and quality completion of projects
• Site preparation, general labouring, and tool handling. As well as managing tradespeople.
• DIY-level repair work, fitting finishes, or assisting joinery and plastering teams
• Ensure cleanliness, safety, and organisation of work areas
• Follow site health & safety protocols and contribute to a safe working environment
Essential Skills & Experience:
• Proven experience in multiple construction and building trades.
• Vocational training or apprenticeship in general construction or related fields.
• Knowledge of construction safety standards and regulations.
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and plans.
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Good physical condition and stamina
• Good working knowledge of architectural drawings, planning standards and UK building regulations
• Resilient to cope with conflicting demands, able to prioritise duties and work effectively under pressure, meet deadlines efficiently and effectively budget
• Evidence of the ability to understand design decisions taken by others
• Strong organisational and communication skills - able to build good relationships at all levels, internally and externally.
Desirable:
• Experience with property conversions and refurbishments.
• Familiarity with UK building codes and regulations.
• Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
