Systems Engineer
Location: Long Eaton, UK (Hybrid working)
Rate: £400 per day (Inside IR35)
Length: 3 months (Initial Contract)
About the Role
The Systems Engineer plays a key role in maintaining, improving and supporting our technology estate. This is both a hands-on technical role and a service-focused role, supporting colleagues with varied levels of technical experience while ensuring systems remain available, compliant and high-performing.

Skills & Experience Required
1. Demonstrable experience in technical engineering or systems support role.
2. Strong understanding of networking fundamentals (LAN/WAN, Wi-Fi, VLANs, DNS, DHCP, firewalls).
3. Hands-on experience with Microsoft 365 administration, Entra ID, endpoint management and modern device provisioning.
4. Knowledge of security best practice including MFA, conditional access, patching, encryption and monitoring tools.
5. Experience supporting users across distributed, multi-site environments.
6. Excellent troubleshooting, analytical and problem-solving abilities.
