services to our customers. We are currently seeking an experienced, motivated and proactive Project Manager to join our project delivery team. The client are world leaders in the design, engineering and installation of high purity water and steam systems, medical gases and laboratory gases systems in the hospital and healthcare markets as well as the semi-conductor, pharmaceutical and other key emerging sectors such as Data Centres, Gigafactories and Hydrogen/Nuclear. Role Overview:
The role will involve predominantly project managing and being ultimately responsible for the
delivery & installation of an ultra-pure water system and the distribution pipework for a key client
in the gigafactory sector.
Time will be split between the site (Southwest England), Puretech HQ (Salfords, Surrey) and project
meetings in Reading.
Role to encompass managing the project from final design to system handover, to include:
Key Responsibilities:
• Contract Review
• Design Review
• Contract Programming
• Labour allocation and programme
• Material procurement and scheduling
• Liaison with Design Department for selection and design of primary plant
• Plant approval and procurement
• Attendance of Client Meetings, on site and office based
• Attendance of internal project review meetings
• Site Surveys
• Establishing site conditions, parameters and requirements
• Instigating site set-up
• Logistics
• Health & Safety, COSHH
• Risk Assessments and Method Statements
• Progress monitoring
• Cost Control and reporting
• Manage on-site Contract Manager
• Costing, monitoring and controlling contract ‘Variations’ and programme effect
• Implementation and management of all associated validation documentation and records
Key Skills & Experience:
• Experience of high purity water systems, to the equivalent of Pharmaceutical and/or
Semiconductor standards, would be an advantage.
• Managing multi-million-pound stainless steel pipework installations will also be an
advantage.
• A proactive, team-oriented attitude and the ability to work independently when required.
