Hays Education works with many schools in the Coventry and Warwickshire area, supplying Teachers and Teaching Assistants. There is currently a high demand in Nuneaton for general and SEN Teaching Assistants, which we are actively recruiting for. Your new role
You will be required to support across primary age groups (you will only work in year groups that you have the most experience in/preference). As a teaching assistant working for Hays, you will support the class teacher, follow the lesson plans as set out for the day, provide one-to-one or small group support, assist with lunch covers and use your creativity skills to help promote a fun learning environment. You may also be required to support children with additional needs, including Autism, Down Syndrome, ADHD, challenging behaviours and learning difficulties.
What you'll need to succeed
You must have experience working in a childcare setting, whether this be in a nursery, school, hospital, children's home or social care. Ideally, you will have childcare qualifications. However, experience is most important. You will be flexible to work across primary age groups and be able to work from – Jobs are available on a full and part-time basis also. Ideally, you will have experience working with children with additional needs.
