Penbridge School is looking for a friendly, organised and motivated Receptionist to join our supportive team working across both the Infants and Junior school. This is a key role at the heart of our school, where you will provide a professional reception service and essential administrative support to ensure the smooth running of our day-to-day operations.
As the first point of contact for parents, carers, visitors and staff, you will play an important part in representing the school's values and ethos. You will have the ability to cope with conflicting demands, deadlines and interruptions whilst working to tight deadlines in a methodical manner.
Key responsibilities:
* Acting as the welcoming first point of contact for all visitors, parents, carers and staff
* Managing calls, emails and enquiries in a professional and timely manner
* Providing administrative support to the Office Manager and wider school team
* Organising and prioritising tasks to meet tight deadlines
* Ensuring confidentiality and professionalism at all times
What you will need to succeed:
Strong administrative and organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities
Excellent communication skills and customer focused approach
High standards of accuracy and attention to detail
Confident IT skills, including Microsoft 365
GCSE Maths and English at Grade C/4 or equivalent qualification
Previous experience of working in a similar role, ideally in an educational setting
