The Role
As an SEN Teacher, you will be working with a diverse group of students, each with their own unique needs. This includes students with Complex Learning Difficulties (CLD), Profound and Multiple Learning Difficulties (PMLD), Severe Learning Difficulties (SLD), ADHD, and Autism.
Responsibilities
* Customised Lesson Delivery: Plan and teach dynamic, engaging lessons tailored to the individual learning styles and needs of your students.
* Curriculum Management: Plan, prepare, and deliver lessons based on the P Scales curriculum.
* Building Positive Connections: Build strong, trusting relationships with students to create a supportive and effective learning environment.
* Behavioural Expertise: Use creative and resilient classroom management techniques to maintain a productive and calm atmosphere.
* Personal Care Support: Provide personal care assistance to students as needed.
Essential Requirements
* Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) is essential.
* UK-based Experience: Prior experience working with students with SEN in a UK school setting.
* Immediate Availability: Able to start as soon as possible.
* Working Schedule: Available to work five days a week, from 8:30 AM to 3:30 PM.
* DBS Check: Enhanced DBS on the Update Service is required, or be willing to obtain a new one.
* Work Eligibility: Must have the legal right to work in the UK without sponsorship.
* Key Skills: Excellent communication and classroom management skills.
