Contract Manager
Location: Remote - National Travel
Salary: Competitive
Contract Type: Permanent
Working Hours: 40 hours per week, Monday-Friday

We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Mechanical Arboriculture Contract Manager to oversee the full project lifecycle from initial enquiry through to job completion and closeout. This role involves strong client communication, meticulous documentation, and coordination of operational and financial activities to ensure projects are delivered efficiently, safely, and within budget.
Key Responsibilities:
* Client Engagement & Site Visit:
o Respond to incoming leads via email or phone.
o Arrange and coordinate site visits with clients.
o Conduct site assessments and complete Mech Arb Site Hazards form.
* Quoting & Tender Submission:
o Prepare costing sheets and written quotations, including haulage, contractor, and accommodation costs.
o Submit quotes within agreed timeframes.
* Job Setup & Resource Coordination
* Documentation & Compliance:
o Develop and distribute project programme to clients (if required).
o Prepare RAMS (Risk Assessments & Method Statements) and ensure client approval.
o Create and provide necessary compliance documents (LOLER, PUWER, Lifting/ALO plans, Allocation Sheets).
o Arrange servicing and repairs with our supply chain for Mechanised plant, LOLER, PUWER etc.
o Ensure daily risk assessments and allocation sheets are completed on site.
* Ongoing Oversight & Communication:
o Maintain ongoing communication with clients and internal teams.
* Project Completion & Financial Closeout
What we’re looking for:
* Strong project coordination and organisational skills
* Excellent communication and client relationship management
* Experience in construction, rail, arboriculture, or mechanical sectors is desirable
* Proficient with Microsoft Office and SharePoint
* Understanding of safety regulations and compliance (RAMS, LOLER, PUWER)
* Ability to work both independently and collaboratively across departments
