Job Title: Assistant Deputy Manager/Unit Lead
As an Assistant Deputy Manager/Unit Lead, you will be part of the management team alongside the Home Manager and Deputy Manager at Wood Care Group. Your role primarily involves providing care with assigned supernumerary time to complete management tasks.
We seek someone who understands the importance of being hands-on with care while ensuring the shift is well-led. You will support both day and night shifts, being present for handovers.
Responsibilities include caring for residents' physical, psychological, and social needs, assisting with personal care activities such as washing, hygiene, dressing, and meals. You will also support management functions, including supervision, observations, rota planning, medication audits, and end-of-month medication reviews.
This role is ideal for a senior care professional looking to progress to a Deputy Manager position within a company that values internal development.

Additional Duties
* Attend staff meetings.
* Maintain personal and professional development through training and support staff development.
* Understand safeguarding responsibilities, reduce risks of abuse or neglect, and adhere to safeguarding and whistleblowing policies.
* Provide evidence of completed training.
* Follow fire procedures and health and safety legislation.
* Complete required training for the home.
