Job overview

Working Full Time: 37.5 hours per week

Due to a vacancy in our women and children divisional quality governance team we are looking for a dynamic and enthusiastic colleague who is as committed to improving safety and learning as we are.

You will join a service that works directly with other divisional teams to ensure effectively delivery of our systems and processes in relation to safety and quality improvement.

Working with the divisional quality governance business partner and the risk and safety leads for the division, you will be responsible for delivery of the administrative elements of the quality governance portfolio for your division. This will include the focus on learning and improvement, therefore there are close links between this role and our Quality and Clinical Audit Teams.

Main duties of the job

1. Working as part of the Clinical Governance Team and will be required to share, support and contribute to an integrated approach to clinical governance.
2. The aim of this role is to work with the Governance, Risk & Safety Leads, Heads of Nursing, Matrons, Operations Managers and the wider Clinical Risk and Governance Teams, to support the delivery of the governance, compliance, clinical effectiveness and quality agendas for the Divisional area.
3. Providing administrative support for all the divisional clinical governance processes, including assisting with the identification and capturing of themes, trends and lessons for wider sharing.
4. Responsible for the administration of compliance and assurance processes and maintain an overview of agreed actions to provide assurance that these have been completed.
