Full-time permanent position 4-on 4-off continental shift pattern of days and nights: Nights: 6pm to 6am £Opportunities for training and professional development As a Mechanical Engineer, your duties will include: Performing preventive and corrective maintenance on mechanical systems, machinery and production lines Diagnosing and repairing mechanical faults to minimise downtime Maintaining conveyors, motors, pumps, gearboxes, pneumatics, hydraulics and other mechanical components Supporting the installation and commissioning of new and upgraded equipment Maintaining accurate maintenance records and collaborating with production and electrical teams to improve equipment reliability To be considered as a Mechanical Engineer, you will need: SVQ3 and HNC in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent Proven experience in an industrial or food processing environment Strong knowledge of mechanical systems, pneumatics, hydraulics and industrial machinery Experience with preventive maintenance programmes and CMMS Knowledge of HACCP, GMP or similar food safety systems Interested in this Mechanical Engineer role?
