Our clients benefit from our ability to provide a ‘one-stop-shop’ whereby we offer a comprehensive range of service covering project asset design, construction, installation, commissioning and handover, through to ongoing maintenance and management. We operate framework contracts with a number of the key UK water companies. Our delivery model provides customer service and value to our clients.

This role covers the Severn Trent region, operating from our Bromsgrove office with travel across sites as required.

What You’ll Do

1. Lead and manage a portfolio of projects across a major utilities framework, providing strategic direction and support to Project Managers and site teams
2. Take full accountability for safe, timely, and commercially successful project delivery in line with contractual obligations
3. Champion a strong safety culture, ensuring full compliance with SHEQ standards and CDM regulations in collaboration with the Health & Safety team
4. Oversee programme and commercial performance, proactively managing risks, resolving issues, and driving delivery against key milestones and budgets
5. Manage and coordinate internal teams, subcontractors, and third-party stakeholders to ensure effective and efficient project execution
6. Implement robust management and monitoring processes across design, procurement, manufacture, and installation phases
7. Support the commercial function in subcontract procurement, contract administration, and cost control
8. Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, framework partners, and key stakeholders to support successful delivery and future opportunities
9. Produce and present accurate and timely reports to internal and external stakeholder
10. Lead, motivate, and develop teams, promoting a high-performance culture and supporting ongoing training and professional development in line with company values
11. Work collaboratively with the Framework Manager to identify and secure new work streams and contribute to business growth

What You’ll Bring

12. Proven experience in a Contracts Manager or Senior Project Manager role within the utilities sector, ideally across water and wastewater environments
13. Demonstrable track record of successfully delivering multiple concurrent projects, managing portfolios typically in the range of £20m–£30m, with individual schemes up to £6m
14. Strong technical knowledge across mechanical, electrical, and civil disciplines
15. Commercially astute, with solid experience in cost control, planning, and programme management
16. Effective leader with the ability to manage and motivate multidisciplinary teams and subcontractors
17. Highly organised, proactive, and solutions-focused, with the ability to manage competing priorities
18. Strong communication and stakeholder management skills
19. Relevant industry qualification (ONC/HNC/Degree or equivalent)
20. Valid CSCS card
21. Good level of IT literacy, including Microsoft Office
