Company Secretary & Governance role based in NN1 1ED. This position focuses on ensuring regulatory requirements are met in a timely manner and managing governance arrangements between Northamptonshire Children’s Trust (NCT) and the relevant councils and stakeholders. The role also supports business continuity planning, operational effectiveness, and statutory inspections within the Trust.
Responsibilities
* Ensure all regulatory and governance requirements are met in a timely manner.
* Manage governance arrangements between NCT and councils and other stakeholders.
* Act as the main point of contact for maintaining business continuity plans and operational effectiveness.
* Provide support for statutory inspections within the Trust.
About You / Requirements
* Experienced, enthusiastic, dynamic and creative individual capable of ensuring statutory obligations are met while supporting service delivery across Northamptonshire Children’s Trust.
* Ability to communicate effectively across all levels of the organisation, regularly interacting with the Board of Directors, Senior Managers and employees.
* Strong experience in maintaining contract governance and monitoring the performance of SLAs.
* Ability to develop and maintain positive professional relationships to enable collaboration across teams, service areas and external stakeholders.
* Full employment history including any gaps since leaving full-time education; readiness to provide supporting statement covering essential criteria for shortlisting.
