Your new role
As a General Supply Teacher, you’ll step into classrooms across a range of subjects and year groups, helping to maintain continuity of learning and inspire students in the absence of their regular teacher. Your responsibilities will include:
1. Delivering pre-prepared lessons across a variety of subjects, adapting your approach to suit different learners and classroom dynamics.
2. Managing classroom behaviour and creating a positive, respectful learning environment.
3. Supporting students’ academic progress and encouraging engagement with lesson content.
4. Collaborating with school staff to ensure smooth transitions and effective lesson delivery.
5. Gaining valuable experience across different schools, departments, and teaching styles.
