Job Description:
We seek a Germany-qualified Commercial Lawyer to support our client, an innovative and fast-growing company operating at the intersection of advertising, fundraising, and entertainment. This short-term contract role is ideal for a commercially minded legal professional with strong expertise in B2C operations, particularly within a digital or consumer-facing environment.
Key Responsibilities
* Provide clear, pragmatic legal advice on a broad range of commercial matters, with a strong focus on B2C contractual and regulatory issues.
* Draft, review, and negotiate a variety of commercial agreements, including marketing agreements, service provider contracts, and promotional arrangements.
* Ensure ongoing compliance with German and EU legislation, including regulations related to consumer protection, data privacy (GDPR), and e-commerce.
* Advise on advertising, promotions, and gambling-related regulatory frameworks, where applicable.
* Work closely with internal stakeholders across legal, marketing, and operational teams to support strategic initiatives.
Candidate Requirements
* Solid professional experience in commercial law, preferably with exposure to B2C environments.
* Demonstrated ability to work independently in a remote, fast-paced, and dynamic setting.
* Excellent written and verbal communication skills in both German and English.
