As a High Net Worth/Private Clients Loss Adjuster, you will be responsible for assessing and managing insurance claims for high net worth individuals and private clients. Your role will involve investigating, negotiating, and settling claims related to property damage and other covered perils. You will work closely with clients, insurance companies, and other relevant parties to ensure fair and timely resolution of claims while providing exceptional customer service
What will you be responsible for:
Claims Assessment: Evaluate insurance claims submitted by high net worth individuals and private clients, including property damage, liability, and other covered losses.
Investigation: Conduct thorough investigations into the circumstances surrounding each claim, gathering relevant information, and assessing the extent of the damage or loss.
Documentation: Prepare detailed reports documenting findings from investigations, including photographs, estimates, and other supporting evidence.
Client Communication: Communicate effectively with clients to explain the claims process, gather additional information, and address any concerns or questions they may have.
Negotiation: Negotiate with insurance companies, contractors, and other parties involved in the claims process to reach fair and equitable settlements.
Policy Interpretation: Interpret insurance policies to determine coverage eligibility and limitations, providing guidance to clients and stakeholders as needed.
Claims Resolution: Facilitate the resolution of claims in a timely manner, ensuring that clients receive prompt and appropriate compensation for their losses.
Customer Service: Provide exceptional customer service throughout the claims process, demonstrating empathy, professionalism, and responsiveness to client needs.
Risk Management: Identify potential risks and opportunities for loss prevention, offering recommendations to clients to minimize future exposures.
Compliance: Ensure compliance with relevant laws, regulations, and industry standards governing the handling of insurance claims.
What we need from you:
• Bachelor's degree in a relevant field such as insurance, finance, or business administration.
• Previous experience in claims adjusting, preferably with a focus on high-net-worth individuals or private clients.
• Strong knowledge of insurance principles, policies, and procedures.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Exceptional communication and interpersonal abilities.
• Negotiation skills with a proven track record of achieving favorable outcomes.
• Detail-oriented with the ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently.
• Proficiency in relevant computer software and claims management systems.
• Cert CII and / or Cert CILA minimum, ideally DIP CILA
• Minimum 5 year loss adjusting in both Domestic and Commercial or Proven Property Claims Adjusting / Handling experience from either a Loss Adjuster, Insurer or similar.
• Full / clean driving license.
