Ecommerce Trading Manager (Amazon Focus)
Location: Glasgow (Hybrid)
Salary: DOE
Contract: Initial 12-month FTC (potential to become permanent)
We’re working with a fast-scaling ecommerce business looking for an Ecommerce Trading Manager to take ownership of performance across Amazon and their own website.
This is a hands-on, commercially driven role in a pure-play environment. You’ll be responsible for trading performance day-to-day, making decisions quickly based on data, and driving profitable growth across key channels.
Amazon is the primary focus, so strong marketplace experience is essential.
Responsibilities:
* Owning day-to-day trading performance across Amazon
* Managing listings, pricing, promotions and stock availability
* Running and optimising Amazon Ads with a focus on profitability
* Monitoring key metrics including TACoS, ACOS and overall performance
* Analysing performance daily and making informed trading decisions
* Managing website trading including merchandising, promotions and conversion
* Identifying and acting on trading opportunities quickly
* Ensuring site and marketplace hygiene is consistently high
Requirements:
* Strong experience managing Amazon in a commercial environment
* Solid understanding of marketplace metrics (TACoS, ACOS, Buy Box, etc.)
* Data-driven mindset with the ability to make decisions quickly
* Commercial awareness across margin, pricing and profitability
* Experience in a fast-paced ecommerce or D2C environment
* Proactive, organised and comfortable managing multiple priorities

Please Note:
The role is based in Glasgow with mostly onsite working, so easy access to their location in the East of Glasgow via car would be essential. Candidates must have full UK work rights, as no sponsorship is available.
