Support Worker – Learning Disability Day Centre
Location: Witney
Hours: Monday to Friday, 9:30 AM to 3:30 PM
We are looking for a passionate and dedicated Support Worker to join a Learning Disability Day Centre team. This role involves supporting individuals to engage in meaningful activities, assisting during meal times, and providing personal care when required.
Responsibilities:
Supporting individuals with learning disabilities in day-to-day activities.
Facilitating and participating in group and individual activities to promote social interaction and skill development.
Assisting with meal preparation and supporting during meal times.
Providing personal care as needed, ensuring dignity and respect at all times.
Encouraging independence and enabling individuals to achieve their goals.
Maintaining accurate records and adhering to care plans.
Requirements:
Experience in working with individuals with learning disabilities .
Compassionate, patient, and enthusiastic attitude.
Ability to work as part of a team and independently.
Willingness to undergo training if required.
