Job Description
This is a client-facing role supported by the Senior Transcreation Account Manager, centred on providing high-quality digital content adaptation(transcreation) across all types of media with a particular focus on e-comm and SEO for a global fashion brand (H&M). The role will own day-to-day client relationships, ensuring client retention and satisfaction via good quality output, and work closely with the digital creative agency of record for H&M
Qualifications
Responsibilities:
1. Responsibilities include client relationship management, business development and project management.
2. By managing digital content localisation projects briefed internally or directly by the client, the Digital Content and SEO Project Manager will act as a dedicated point of contact for the client under the guidance of the Senior Transcreation Account Manager.
3. This includes assessing requirements, querying, collecting reference material, planning, quoting and scheduling, to build up and demonstrate a clear understanding of our end client’s brands.
4. Sourcing and negotiating with in-market linguists specialising in SEO content creation and localisation for e-comm.
5. Using SEO tools like SEMrush, Moz and Google Adword, to name just a few, and their functionalities for keyword research, localisation and search volume data.
6. Preparation of briefs and copy decks for e-comm content localisation.
7. QA to ensure copy localisation follows translate plus quality procedures.
8. Maintaining glossaries and playbooks to ensure consistency across campaigns and projects, capturing nuances of the markets, client feedback and marketers/brand managers’ preferences along the way.
9. Managing the copy review/approval process with the agency or client, building strong client and stakeholder relationships along the way.
10. Attending voice-over sessions remotely to supervise the audio recordings.
11. Coordinating QC for final checks on localised edits before the final release.
12. Support other teams on general transcreation and language services projects as and when required.
13. Ensure all admin tasks are completed on time, including reconciliation of costs.
Skills and competence requirements:
14. Passion for the web and new technologies.
15. High organisational skills, which are crucial to craft a long-term strategy.
16. Excellent communication to interact with technical, marketing and editorial teams.
17. Strong oral and written English skills; knowledge of a foreign language is a plus.
18. Education to degree level.
19. Excellent computer literacy.
20. Digital creation/adaptation/transcreation/production and/or media industries background.
21. 2-3 years of project management experience, taking briefs to/from creative agencies and client stakeholders in advertising production services with a specific focus on adaptation needs.
22. Proven client-facing experience.
23. Flexibility and adaptability to work in a variety of roles in a changing environment.
24. Exceptional communication skills; effective verbal/written communication with clients, suppliers and internal team members is a must for this role.
25. Excellent collaboration skills with internal stakeholders to coordinate multi-media needs across production services and ensure consistency.
26. Proactive, detail-oriented and highly organised ability to work to tight deadlines and remain calm under pressure.
27. Genuine passion for languages and production.
28. Strong business acumen and negotiating skills.
