Job Description
Our Dorset-based construction client is seeking a bright, enthusiastic, proactive, reliable, and highly organized Planner/Scheduler to join their friendly team with full support and training at hand.
The ideal candidate will need to come from a contractor background and take responsibility for day-to-day planning of work and projects throughout the south coast, home counties, and London regions (DOE).
Key Responsibilities
1. Ensuring that all projects are staffed efficiently and effectively and that the allocation of resources is optimized.
2. Developing and maintaining detailed schedules.
3. Liaising with project managers to understand staffing needs and project timelines.
4. Managing daily scheduling, making adjustments as necessary.
5. Communicating scheduling details and changes.
6. Analyzing data and creating reports.
7. Assisting with other administrative duties.
8. Building strong relationships with Operators and negotiating regarding schedules, managing concerns.
9. Building strong relationships with Clients and Operatives, offering a first-class service, and resolving any issues efficiently and effectively.

* Proven experience (minimum 12 months) in scheduling or planning.
* Effective communicator.
