Key Responsibilities
* Under minimum supervision, applies functional specifications and uses engineering tools to design hardware, electronic circuits, control systems, or algorithms for new development and existing products.
* Uses software tools or applications to analyse and conduct tests on electronics circuits or systems and document performance in comparison with design criteria.
* Identifies the testing requirement at a component, integration and system level with an emphasis on complying with test standards and Halliburton’s Health, Safety, and Environment procedures.
* Generate test procedures, conduct test and generate reports.
* Performs both engineering calculations and various statistical analysis as required.
* Develops and documents process flows, tooling, jigs, fixtures, test equipment, procedures, etc. using appropriate engineering tools.
* Supports technology transfer and product support for manufacturing and operations.
* Interacts with suppliers to evaluate technical capabilities, to develop processes to ensure adherence to Halliburton’s quality requirements, and helps investigate any technical quality issues.
* Product line governance and continuous improvement.
* Supports the Engineering Change process.
* Promotes and contributes to a cohesive team environment and maintains open lines of communication with all levels of the organization.

Work Experience
* Analog and Digital electronics circuit design.
* Evaluation and testing of electronic systems at all stages of development.
* Troubleshooting and diagnosis of prototype and production tools.
* Engineering design calculations and analysis.
* PCB schematics and layout design using Altium software or similar.
* High temperature and rugged electronics designs.
* PC software and embedded firmware/microcontroller programming using C programming.
* Experience with Halliburton processes and systems is preferred.
Benefits
* Skills acquired through the completion of an undergraduate degree in Electrical Engineering or similar discipline and 5 years of related experience.
* Completion of a master’s in electrical engineering or similar discipline is preferred.
