An exciting opportunity has emerged for a Paediatric Nurse to join the Paediatric Respiratory Service at the Royal Hospital for Children as a Band 6 Generic Respiratory Clinical Nurse Specialist. This is a part time post (30 hours) Monday to Friday core working hours will to be flexible to meet the needs of the service. We are seeking an experienced and enthusiastic nurse with a high level of interpersonal communication skills to support this specific client group. Working autonomously and independently within the context of a supportive and progressive MDT to provide highly specialist knowledge and expertise ensuring seamless family centred evidence based care for patients. The Respiratory team care for children with acute and chronic Respiratory conditions including Asthma, Cystic Fibrosis, Bronchiectasis, Primary ciliary dyskinesia and Neuro/Respiratory disorders within an inpatient, outpatient and community setting with our vision focusing on the avoidance of hospital admissions and early facilitated discharge of Respiratory patients.
