As part of our client’s continued growth, they are seeking an Internal Sales Advisor to join their renowned custom technology solutions company whose HQ is based in Wokingham. This is a permanent vacancy, office based three days per week working Monday to Friday 8:45am - 5:00pm.

About the role
As an Internal Sales Adviser you will be reporting to the Internal Sales Manager and will maintain existing business opportunities and grow new business opportunities by working with the Sales Manager/Field Sales team to build successful customer relationships. Responsibilities include:
1. Qualifying and understanding the nature of the request for client quotes
2. Determining resale price and lead time
3. Entering quotation on Netsuite (CRM system)
4. Ensuring all quotations comply with existing regulations (ITAR, Export Compliance, etc.)
5. Ensuring both customer and Company have a clear understanding of the terms that are in place, including currency agreements
6. The accurate processing of customer orders, ensuring that all orders comply with current legislation and Company guidelines
7. Working with purchasing and suppliers to ensure export licenses are in place and that orders are delivered on time
8. Working with Management to look for process/ways improvements that add value for the customer and company
9. Proactively informing customers and Sales teams when delivery dates change, both verbally and electronically
10. Proactively pre-progress and update open customer orders where appropriate on a monthly basis
11. Regularly updating customers with most recent lead time and use the drift report to highlight where customers should be placing new orders/additional business
12. Dealing with customer enquiries on existing and shipped orders
13. Controlling and monitoring buffer, safety and consignment stock agreements, where these have been agreed with customers and the company management
14. Managing post-sale issues, e.g. queries, complaints, RMAs and repairs
15. Understanding the gaps in customer Whitespace and work with Field Sales team to fill in the gaps and create strategies to offer company solutions
You will work with the Field Sales Team to:
16. Convert quotations to orders and keep relevant teams and systems updated
17. Proactively manage customer orders and contracts to ensure prices and lead-times are reviewed and renewed in a timely fashion (using drift report)
18. Establish and meet/exceed customers KPI’s. This may require KPIs to be created and agreed
19. Ensure NetSuite is kept up to date
20. Promote exclusive and strategic suppliers to the customers
21. Establish customers’ preferred communication routes ensuring the company not solely rely on email to build relationships
About you
The role of Internal Sales Advisor would suit an individual who has experience within a similar B2B position and you must have / be:
22. Able to organise and prioritise whilst juggling multiple tasks
23. Effective in the use of questioning and listening to establish customer needs
24. Able to work effectively independently and as part of the wider team.
25. Good customer service and relationship building skills
26. Confident in negotiation processes
27. Good numerical skills
28. Calculating quotes
29. Excellent attention to detail and a positive attitude
30. Experience of MS office and in-house systems
About the hours & rewards
As an Internal Sales Advisor, your working hours will be 8.45am to 5pm Monday to Friday and you will receive an excellent salary of £25,000 to £30,000 per annum OTE £35K depending on experience plus:
