Our EMEA Wells Fargo payroll team has an exciting opportunity for an experienced EMEA Senior Payroll Specialist. In this full-time, permanent role, you'll handle complex tasks to support payroll preparation and distribution for our operations in EMEA.
As an EMEA Senior Payroll Specialist, you'll manage vendor relationships and workflows to deliver accurate and timely payroll services to our team members across the region, ensuring compliance with local legal and regulatory standards.

In this role, you will:
1. Take ownership for the delivery of EMEA Payrolls to the Company Service Level Agreements for accuracy and timeliness as well as full compliance with legislation, internal policy and control procedures.
2. Contribute to providing work direction, coaching, and managing daily schedules.
3. Consult in payroll inquiries, records, deductions, and procedures.
4. Perform reconciliations and audit tasks for monthly payrolls.
5. Improve and update operations by maintaining accurate records of payroll information.
6. Guide resolution of payroll regulatory risks by applying understanding of current and new industry practices.
7. Monitor evolving industry changes and communicate implications to the team.
8. Review complex data with legal compliance and assess impact on resources.
9. Collaborate and consult with peers, colleagues, and managers to resolve issues and achieve goals.
10. Enhance customer satisfaction.
11. Work on payroll and wider HR projects to deliver process simplification and automation.
Required Qualifications:
* Ability to multi-task and deliver results in a fast-paced environment.
* Strong Excel skills.
* Excellent attention to detail.
* Good interpersonal and communication skills.
* Good team working skills with the ability to work independently.
* General financial skills and knowledge, including basic understanding of balance sheets and budgeting.
* Working knowledge of CloudPay or ADP Streamline Payroll.
* Working knowledge of Workday is preferred.
* Experience working through change, ideally implementing interfaces or automation of processes.
* Experience in Payroll, or equivalent demonstrated through work experience, training, military service, or education.
Job Expectations:
* Wells Fargo operates a Hybrid working model combining office and home working, with a minimum of 3 days in the office.
