This is an exciting opportunity for a New Product Development Graphic and Content Designer within the product development team of a manufacturing business. This role focuses on the creation of high-quality visual, marketing and technical content to support new and existing products whilst supporting projects within the New product development team. This Graphic and Content Designer role will be creative and producing documents for multiple brands, this role has lots of involvement with the NPD team, Marketing and many stakeholders in the business. This Graphic and Content Designer role will report into the Head of Design and Development.
Responsibilities and Qualifications:
* Translating Technical product information into clear engaging and accurate visual content
* Managing multiple projects
* Working to deadlines and collaborating closely with the NPD team, Marketing department, Sales and Operations teams
* Support product development from concept through to product launch by creating visual and marketing content.
* Produce marketing literature including datasheets, technical specification sheets and product overviews
* Produce clear and accurate installation instructions, user guides and technical documentation
* To produce video content such as product overview videos, installation guides and training materials
* Supporting NPD testing activities by preparing test reports, diagrams, visual summaries and presentations of results
* Creating presentation materials for internal training, sales teams and customer presentations
* Ensuring consistency of branding, layout and messaging across all visual and written materi
* Supporting new product launches with coordinated visual, marketing and training materials
* Working closely with NPD engineers and technicians to understand products, materials and manufacturing processes
* Strong Graphic design and technical illustrator experience
* Strong portfolio demonstrating presentation and documentation work
* Ability to translate technical information
* Basic CAD or SolidWorks knowledge would be an advantage
* Manufacturing background - technical or engineering products
* Relevant experience in Adobe suite: Photoshop, Illustrator, Inventor or similar
* Proven experience of creating marketing literature, presentations and technical documents
* Experience of supporting new product launches is an advantage
* Basic photography and video editing skills
* Strong time management skills, work to deadlines
* Strong attention to detail / accuracy
