Multi-Skilled Field Service Engineer (Mechanical / Electrical)
Inverurie (Scotland Patch)
£38,000 - £42,000 + Van + Overtime + Progression
Are you a Multi-Skilled Engineer with both mechanical and electrical experience, looking for a varied field-based role with a long-established company that offers training, progression, and long-term stability?
On offer is the opportunity to join a highly reputable engineering business with over 100 years of industry experience, known for developing its engineers and promoting from within. With continued growth and expansion, this is a key role within a supportive and experienced team.
In this role, you will carry out installation, service, and maintenance work across customer sites throughout Scotland. You will be involved in fault finding, repairs, and customer interaction, while also supporting apprentice development and contributing to continuous improvement across the business.
This role would suit a Multi-Skilled Engineer, Maintenance Engineer, or Service Engineer with mechanical and electrical skills, looking for a secure role with progression into senior engineering levels.
The Role
Carry out service, maintenance, and installation work on-site
Diagnose faults across mechanical and electrical systems
Communicate with customers and complete service reports
Support apprentices and contribute to team development
Field-based role covering Scotland (based in Inverurie) The Person
Multi-skilled background (mechanical & electrical)
Strong fault-finding and problem-solving skills
Good communication and customer-facing ability
Willingness to travel and stay away when required
