Field Service Engineer

£40,000 – £45,000 + Overtime (OTE £70,000+) + Company Van
We're working with a well-established and growing business within the recycling and waste processing sector, supporting customers across the UK with high-quality equipment and service.
Due to continued growth, they are looking to bring in an experienced Field Service Engineer to cover the South West.
The Role
* Service, maintenance, and repair of recycling equipment including shredders, crushers, screeners, and associated plant machinery
* Diagnose faults across mechanical, hydraulic, and basic electrical systems
* Attend breakdowns and carry out planned preventative maintenance (PPM)
* Work closely with customers on-site, providing a professional and reliable service
* Complete job sheets and reports accurately
* Occasional travel further afield when required
The Candidate
* Proven experience working on heavy plant, recycling, crushing & screening, or similar equipment
* Strong mechanical knowledge with good understanding of hydraulics and electrics
* Experience working in a field-based role
* Ability to fault find and work independently
* Full UK driving licence
* Positive attitude and strong work ethic
