You’ll need a valid driver’s license and be willing to travel across our different sites in London as part of this apprenticeship.
This apprenticeship covers key safety, health, and environmental standards, including ISO 45001 (safety) and ISO 14001 (environmental management).

Start date: 1st September 2025
Base Location: You will be expected to travel across various Thames Valley and London sites depending on your location.
Working hours: 36 hours per week Monday to Friday.
Programme Length: 15 Months
Qualification you will obtain:You will gain a Level 3 Health, Safety and Environmental (SHE) Technician Apprenticeship Standard.
Entry Requirements: A minimum of two GCSEs at grade 4 or above (A*-C), in Maths and English OR functional skills level 2 in Maths and English.
Don’tworry if you don’t have your grades yet; if you are due to sit your exams thisyear,we still want to hear from youifyour predicted grades meet our requirements.
Other immediate demands: You will also need to be able to drive and will be expected to travel to different sites across the Thames Valley/ London for this apprenticeship.

Step three: You will be sent a link to book o telephone screening call with a member of our Resourcing Team this is an opportunity for us to get to know you better and ask you some questions.
Step 4: If you are successful in our screening process, you will be invited to an in-person assessment, which will include a group exercise and a competency-based interview.
Assessment CentreDates– Assessments will be held on 15th May and you will be invited for a morning or afternoon session.

What you’ll be doing as a Safety, Health and Environmental (SHE) Technician Apprentice -Level 3
* Planned site visits, including inspections and engagement, risk-based, with the quantity of SHE inspections confirmed depending on the business area and requirement.
* Support the monitoring of performance against the Safety, Health and Wellbeing strategy and objectives, system, standards, processes and procedures.
* Provide effective information for inclusion in reporting and feedback to stakeholders.
* Support site Health Safety Wellbeing compliance inspections to highlight good practice, risks and non-compliance.
* Opportunity to support Thames Water teams on Health Safety Wellbeing compliance.
* Support low-level incident investigations.
