Our client is a family-run independent garage seeking an experienced Workshop Manager to run their Workshop located in Birmingham, West Midlands.

Your Responsibilities as a Workshop Manager will include:
5. Overseeing the day-to-day running of the workshop
6. Allocating jobs and managing workloads for technicians
7. Maintaining a high standard of workmanship and safety
8. Supporting the team with technical knowledge when needed
9. Liaising with customers in a professional and approachable manner
10. Ordering parts, managing stock, and ensuring job completion on time
11. Keeping records up to date and assisting with admin as required.
What We’re Looking For in the Workshop Manager?
12. Previous experience in a Workshop Manager, Foreman, or similar leadership role
13. Ideally, looking for someone who is hands-on
14. Strong automotive technical knowledge (qualified mechanic preferred)
15. Excellent organisational and communication skills
16. Ability to lead, motivate, and support a team
17. Customer-focused attitude and commitment to quality
18. Full UK Driving Licence.
