Role:
1. Assist the Procurement Manager in advancing departmental goals in line with the overarching Procurement Strategy.
2. Lead procurement projects, managing both pre- and post-tender discussions with customers and suppliers.
3. Oversee a designated portfolio, working closely with collaborative partners and customers to identify and pursue contract development opportunities.
4. Analyse both contracted and non-contracted areas within the portfolio to uncover opportunities for new agreements and improvements, setting clear objectives, timelines, and detailed project plans focused on delivering value for money.

5. Public sector procurement knowledge
6. Experience of working on high value contracts
7. Knowledge of procurement process
8. CIPS desirable
