Salary: £25,000 + Uncapped Commission

A high-performing, specialist recruitment business is seeking five ambitious individuals to join as Trainee Recruitment Consultants. Opportunities are available across two established teams operating within international technology markets.
This is an entry-level role designed for commercially minded individuals looking to build a long-term career in recruitment. What the Role Involves
The Trainee Recruitment Consultant will be responsible for building candidate networks, supporting live client requirements, and developing into a full 360 contract recruiter.
Key responsibilities include:
Proactively sourcing candidates through outbound calling, networking, and market research
Building and managing talent pipelines within defined European technology markets
Qualifying candidates through detailed screening and competency-based conversations
Developing commercial awareness of clients, projects, and niche skillsets
Managing the end-to-end candidate process from initial contact through to placement
Supporting senior consultants on high-value contract assignments
Maintaining accurate CRM and market intelligence data
Working to structured activity and performance targets
Developing consultative sales skills and progressing toward client ownership
This is not a "warm desk" role. Success comes from consistent activity, resilience, and a willingness to learn proven processes.
Training & Development

First 3 Weeks: Full-time, in-office training covering market knowledge, recruitment fundamentals, systems, and commercial skills
Ongoing: Daily mentorship from experienced billers and managers

Working Model
Fully office-based in South Manchester for the first 3-weeks
Hybrid model thereafter: 4 days in-office, 1 day remote (Wednesdays)
