Responsibilities include: Supporting pupils on a 1:1 basis and in small groups Encouraging engagement, confidence, and independence Supporting communication, social interaction, and emotional regulation Promoting positive behaviour throughout the school day Working closely with teachers and SEND staff About the School Specialist setting supporting pupils with Autism and additional needs Structured and nurturing learning environment Strong focus on communication, wellbeing, and independence Supportive and experienced staff team What we're looking for: Passion for supporting children and young people with Autism Patient, resilient, and positive approach Strong communication skills Experience in education, care, youth work, or support work is beneficial but not essential If you're new to education, Vision for Education will provide FREE training in Autism Awareness, Behaviour Management, SEND, and Safeguarding.
