Senior Hydraulic Engineer - up to 55,000 + private health care - East Anglia
We are seeking an experienced Senior Hydraulic Engineer to join a leading manufacturer of hydraulic-powered machinery. This is a hands-on role ideal for someone with strong technical expertise in hydraulic systems and a background in manufacturing. The position involves both workshop-based build.
Key Responsibilities:
* Build and assemble hydraulic power packs and associated systems
* Work with pumps, manifolds, valves, pipework, and hydraulic controls
* Read and interpret hydraulic circuit diagrams and technical schematics
* Support site acceptance testing (SAT) and commissioning activities
* Collaborate with internal teams including production and electrical
* Travel to customer sites as required (rare)
What We're Looking For:
* Diploma or Degree in Mechanical or Hydraulic Engineering
* CETOP IH2 minimum, IH3 preferred (or equivalent MH2/MH3 certification)
* 5+ years' experience working with hydraulic systems
* Familiarity with electrical systems and industrial controls
* Experience in industrial, marine, mobile, or offshore hydraulics
* Some experience in fabrication and welding is beneficial

Package Includes:
* Salary from 35,000 to 55,000 depending on experience
* Private healthcare, life assurance, 5.5% pension
* 25 days holiday plus bank holidays
* Flexible start and finish times
* Standard hours: Monday to Friday, 7:30am - 4:00pm
* Occasional overtime
