<div><p>Danny Sullivan is looking for a contractor that specializes in civil engineering, looking to recruit an experienced General Foreman to join their expanding team for a project in IPSWICH. This is a great opportunity for the right candidate as our client is offering excellent salary and package as well as fantastic opportunities for progression.</p><h3>Duties</h3><ul><li>Ensuring works are carried out productively with the safety of others a high priority</li><li>Managing and leading Earthworks team on site</li><li>Ensuring works are carried out to the highest standard</li><li>Ensuring schemes are delivered on time and within budget</li><li>Conduct site inductions, toolbox talks and daily briefings</li><li>Ensuring safety is first and foremost</li><li>Plant and Labour reconciliations</li><li>Communication with managers to ensure all site staff including Sub Contractors work safely</li><li>Material reconciliations and produce regular reports</li><li>Management of staff</li><li>Review method statements/risk assessments</li><li>Liaise with all relevant sub-contractors</li></ul><h3>Requirements</h3><ul><li>Proven experience as a Foreman within the civil engineering industry, ideally on large-scale infrastructure projects</li><li>Must have Earthworks Experience</li><li>Extensive and Wide Ranging Hands on Civil Engineering & Construction Skills</li><li>Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings</li><li>Excellent knowledge of construction processes, equipment and safety procedures</li><li>Strong leadership, communication and organisational skills</li><li>CSCS Black Card, SSSTS/SMSTS and First Aid</li><li>Full UK driving licence.</li></ul><p>Danny Sullivan Group is an equal opportunity employer committed to fostering a diverse and inclusive workplace.
