Join our Acute Medicine team at WGH. This post will support the Occupational Therapist with a focus on early, acute rehabilitative intervention for this group of patients.

Responsibilities
* Deliver independent therapy interventions on wards, assessing patient needs, modifying treatment and care plans, and advancing patient function.
* Reassess and discharge patients within scope of practice.
* Engage fully with the multidisciplinary team.
* Support Therapy teams with non‑clinical duties: equipment ordering, coordinating referrals, collating audit data, and making telephone calls to carers and care providers.
* Commit to weekend working as part of a 5‑over‑7 day working pattern.
* Participate in staff development through appraisal, supervision, and CPD opportunities.
Qualifications
* Previous experience of Occupational Therapy in an acute hospital setting.
* Excellent communication skills.
* Demonstrated ability to work independently and manage the full therapy cycle.
