Our client is seeking an Employment Senior Associate to join their esteemed and dynamic team. This role is situated in the city of Bristol. What you'll do:
* Manage a diverse workload of employment matters advising all types of employers, with an emphasis on our financial services sector clients.
* Work on intricate discrimination, whistle-blowing and breach of contract litigation under appropriate supervision.
* Assist on non-contentious projects which would include restructures in the UK and across multiple jurisdictions.
* Provide general employment advisory work by telephone and email.
* Play an active role in supervising the work of and assisting in the development of trainees and paralegals.
* Participate in and initiate marketing, networking and other business development activities to maintain and develop work from existing clients and potential clients.
What you bring:
* Expectations of the candidate to be a Senior Associate with ideally 5+ Years PQE
* Experience of advising clients in the financial services sector and commercial clients.
* Experience of working on tribunal claims
* Independent thinker with a focus on producing commercial solutions to problems on behalf of clients.
* Confident communicator with an ability to develop relationships with clients and influence at all levels.
* Enthusiastic team player with a flexible approach.
