Job Description: Domiciliary Care Training Manager
Home Care For You - We are recruiting for a Training Manager
**Location:** Based at Blackburn branch with travel to Nelson, Preston, Bolton, and Rochdale
**Hours:** Monday to Friday, 9:00am – 5:00pm
**Department:** Training
**Reports To:** Senior Management / Head of Training
** Salary** 25,000-£30,000 depending on experience

Job Overview
As a Domiciliary Training Manager, you will play a vital role in ensuring our care staff are equipped with the knowledge, skills, and confidence they need to deliver safe and compassionate care. You will develop, deliver, and maintain comprehensive training programs that meet regulatory standards and reflect industry best practices.
You’ll be part of a collaborative training team, working alongside two other Training Managers. While based primarily at our Blackburn branch, you will support staff development across all five locations.
Key Responsibilities
·- Develop and maintain high-quality training materials and programs in line with CQC requirements and current legislation.
·- Deliver engaging, effective training sessions to new and existing care staff, including induction, mandatory, refresher, and specialist training.
·- Assess training needs through consultations with branch managers and team leaders.
·- Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of training programs, implementing improvements where necessary.
·- Keep accurate training records and ensure compliance with audit and inspection requirements.
·- Travel to other branches (Nelson, Preston, Bolton, and Rochdale) as required. Millage payed
·- Support and mentor staff to promote continuous professional development.
·- Stay current with industry developments, policies, and best practices.
Requirements
·- Proven experience in a training or learning and development role within the domiciliary or healthcare sector.
·- Recognised training or teaching qualification (e.g., PTLLS, Level 3 Award in Education and Training or equivalent).
·- In-depth understanding of adult social care standards, safeguarding, and health & safety.
·- Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
·- Ability to travel across sites with flexibility.
·- Strong organisational and time-management skills.
Desirable
·- Experience using e-learning platforms and blended learning approaches.
·- Assessor qualification or experience in delivering NVQs or similar care qualifications.
