We’re looking for a high-impact, delivery-focused Apprenticeship Advisor to drive our ambition to become an apprenticeship-first organisation.
This is a hands-on, project-led role where you will take full ownership of delivering our apprenticeship strategy at scale — moving from intent to measurable outcomes across the business.
You will play a pivotal role in challenging the status quo, embedding apprenticeships into every talent conversation.
About the role
This is a complete finisher role — we’re looking for someone who can input into the strategy and helps delivers it.
1. Maximise Levy & Funding Impact
* Lead the optimisation and full utilisation of the growth and skills levy.
* Identify opportunities to scale apprenticeship routes across all business areas
* Ensure minimal growth and skills levy underspend through proactive planning, pipeline building and stakeholder engagement
2. Deliver an Apprenticeship-First Culture
* Drive the shift from traditional professional qualifications to apprenticeship pathways
* Embed apprenticeships into workforce planning, succession planning and talent discussions
* Act as a visible advocate and thought leader to senior stakeholders
3. Enhance Apprentice Experience & Performance
* Oversee the performance, progression and outcomes of existing apprentices
* Implement robust tracking, reporting and governance of apprenticeship success metrics
* Ensure apprenticeships are fully integrated into capability pathways, not treated as standalone activity

About you
* Demonstrable experience delivering apprenticeship or workforce development strategies, not just designing them
* Strong track record of maximising growth and skills levy utilisation and funding streams
* Experience of driving cultural change, shifting organisations towards apprenticeship-first or skills-based pathways
* Proven ability to engage, influence and challenge senior stakeholders
* Delivery mindset – completes, embeds and measures outcomes (not just ideas)
* Exceptional stakeholder engagement – visible, credible and confident at all levels
* High attention to detail – able to manage complex programmes and funding requirements
* Commercial awareness – connects apprenticeship strategy to business outcomes
* Change agent – challenges traditional thinking and embeds new ways of workforce development
