Key Responsibilities
1. Acting as a central point of contact for regulatory and compliance matters
2. Managing and responding to regulatory issues and correspondence with the Solicitors Regulation Authority (SRA)
3. Overseeing and advising on compliance policies, procedures, and risk management frameworks
4. Handling and investigating client complaints and ensuring they are resolved in accordance with regulatory requirements
5. Monitoring compliance with SRA rules and other relevant legal and regulatory obligations
6. Supporting the development and delivery of compliance training across the firm
7. Assisting with audits, file reviews, and internal compliance monitoring
Requirements
8. Qualified solicitor with 1+ year PQE
9. Strong understanding of SRA regulations and legal practice compliance (or a strong interest in developing in this area)
10. Excellent organisational and analytical skills
11. Ability to handle sensitive matters with professionalism and discretion
12. Strong communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively with colleagues at all levels
