We are looking for an enthusiastic and motivated Driver/Valeter to join the Rental department in our Perth Car and Van rental branch.We offer:33 days' annual leaveFlexible leaveGenerous employee discountsPrivate healthcareWorkplace pension...and much moreHoursFull time: 45 hours per week, five days out of seven and alternate weekendsAbout the roleAs an Arnold Clark Driver/Valeter, you'll be responsible for ensuring all our vehicles are presented in the best possible condition.This position will be a perfect fit for someone who enjoys working in an active, physical role, has excellent attention to detail and is a fantastic team player.Day-to-day dutiesCleaning sold and stock vehicles to a high standardCleaning vehicles externally with a high-powered pressure washerUsing a high-powered vacuum to clean and shampoo vehicle interiorsWorking with a polishing/buffing machine to enhance bodyworkComplying with health and safety procedures while working with chemicalsMaking sure that all equipment and machinery is properly maintained and secure, reporting any defects and complying with manufacturers' instructions and PPE recommendationsWorking to set timeframes and targetsCompleting a daily record of workOther duties to support the branch as requiredEssential requirementsFull UK driving licenceHigh level of attention to detailSelf-motivation with the ability to work as part of a teamThe ability to multi-taskWillingness to participate in training programmesValet experience is preferred, but training can be provided for a candidate who demonstrates a high level of enthusiasm and the other required criteria.
