Salary: Negotiable (dependent on experience)
The role
You’ll work closely with GPs and the wider clinical team to deliver high-quality nursing care and support improved outcomes for our patients.
You’ll provide a broad range of clinical nursing services, including:
* Chronic disease management (e.g., Diabetes, Asthma, COPD, CHD, Hypertension)
* Women’s health: contraception advice, sexual health and screening guidance, menopause support, and cervical cytology
* Wound care and dressings, leg ulcers, Doppler assessments, and suture removal
* ECGs, venepuncture, and relevant health checks
* Travel clinic services
* Routine and childhood immunisations
* Chaperoning and supporting clinicians during examinations when required
* Assisting with minor surgery and coil fittings
* Requesting and handling appropriate tests (e.g., swabs, urine cultures) in line with protocols
* Maintaining clinical rooms and stock (including vaccine ordering and cold chain support)
* Accurate clinical record-keeping, escalating concerns, and supporting safe systems of work
* Attending nurse/practice meetings and contributing to service improvement
* Occasional home visits may be required
Clinical governance and safety
* Supporting clinical audit and monitoring standards of care
* Working in line with infection prevention and control policies
* Maintaining competence in basic life support (BLS) and anaphylaxis management

* Comfortable following practice protocols and escalating appropriatelyReliable, organised, and patient-focused, with excellent communication skills
