We are currently representing a well established Asset Management Firm who are looking to add a Fund/Manager Research Analyst to their team in London.
Key responsibilities and requirements:
* Investment due diligence on alternative UCITS managers and offshore hedge funds
* Generalist strategy coverage, with a focused on equity long/short and EMN strategies on a global basis
* Day to Day tasks: Hedge Fund manager research - monitoring of managers; sourcing managers; documentation and report writing; assist Sales team with client requests
Key Skills and Experience:
* Investment 2-7 year related experience
* Competent capital markets background - familiarity with fixed income and derivative markets
* Technical competency to perform quantitative analysis on managers
* A self-starter who has a 'can-do' attitude, can quickly analyse internal and external requirements and focus on managing often challenging delivery expectations
* A strong effective communicator who is able to develop and maintain relationships with the senior management team and internal teams
* A proactive and flexible team player with effective interpersonal skills
* An independent thinker with a high level of integrity
* Excellent organisational and time management skills with a proven ability to prioritise effectively
* The ability to remain level headed when managing multiple tasks to often tight deadlines
* Proficiency in Microsoft office programs with Word (intermediate), Excel (intermediate) and Outlook as a pre-requisite
* Degree level education
