We are looking to hire an experiencedIT Manager to join our team here at MANUAL! This role will involve collaborating with various teams across the business, implementing new systems andmanaging & maintaining existing systems. This is a hybrid role with 3 days per week in our London HQ in Bermondsey.
RESPONSIBILITIES
Implement new systems, manage and maintain existing systems
* Manage projects to implement new systems, ensuring deadlines are met and stakeholders are engaged
* Drive innovation in IT systems, reviewing current technology and system offerings and identifying improvements and cost reduction opportunities
* Maintain the IT and systems infrastructure so that it is compliant with current data protection regulations
* Conduct security reviews of existing and new systems and manage access to systems
* Liaise with equipment and software vendors to specify contracts and SLAs
* Document IT systems and assist the documentation process
* Produce root cause analysis reports in case of failures and issues
* Provide user support as necessary within the organisation
* Respond in a flexible and adaptive way to support ad hoc requests
Work in a team environment
* You’ll work with all teams across the business
* You’ll communicate your ideas and plan your work
* You’ll review your work with senior functional team leads
WHO YOU ARE
* You’re a system administrator with at least 7 years of commercial experienceas an IT system administrator or equivalent, in a technically challenging role
* You’re looking to develop your skills further as part of an in house team
* You have a genuine enthusiasm for working with IT systems, ensuring they run effectively and securely, and take no greater pleasure than finding the right solution to the problem at hand
* The idea of working in a successful startup in a fast paced role excites you
* In-depth knowledge of device management
* Familiarity with endpoint detection and response
* Solid understanding of IT security and data protection principles
* Understanding of frameworks such as Cyber Essentials, ISO 27001, NHS DSPT
* Familiarity with modern SASS systems
* Experience with supporting end users of systems, both on Windows and Mac
* A strong desire to learn and to contribute to the team’s work
Other skills you might have
* Degree, HND or equivalent certifications in any IT related subject is a plus
* Experience maintaining a cloud first IT setup
* Familiarity with Google Workspace
* Experience with RESTful APIs
* Knowledge of relational databases
* Comfortable on the command line of *NIX machines
* Experience working in cross functional teams
