This role presents an exciting opportunity for a skilled and visionary leader to take on the position of Headteacher at The Bishop’s Church of England Primary Academy. The Bishop’s is one of the bigger primary schools within our trust, serving an area of higher than average disadvantage in the wonderful town of Thetford. The current team have worked extremely hard to improve the school and they have demonstrated strong improvement in recent years which can be felt and seen at the school, as well as being reflected in improved Ofsted and children’s outcomes. This journey is not yet, however, complete and we want someone to work with both the fantastic staff team and dedicated Trust professionals to take the school even further. You will, currently, also be working with the additional resource and support available from the RISE programme, which the school has been involved with since September 2025.
