Learning Support Assistant – Redhill, Dorking, Epsom, Caterham, Horley areas

Location: Surrey

Contract Type: Full-time, Term-time only

Salary: Competitive, dependent on experience

We are seeking a compassionate and proactive Learning Support Assistant to join a welcoming school in Surrey. This is an excellent opportunity to support children who require additional help to achieve their academic and personal goals.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Support students with additional learning needs across various subjects
2. Work under the guidance of the class teacher to adapt learning materials
3. Provide one-to-one and small group support to help students stay engaged
4. Assist with classroom management and promote positive behaviour
5. Encourage student independence and confidence in learning

Requirements:

6. Experience working with children or young people in an educational setting
7. Patient, caring, and enthusiastic attitude
8. Strong communication and organisational skills
9. Enhanced DBS on the update service (or willingness to obtain one)
