Product Manager– Kast
Location: onsite in Nottinghamshire
Base salary up to £45K subject to skills & experience, plus an excellent benefits package including company bonuses.

We are seeking an experienced Product Manager to join our team at Kast, a leading manufacturer of concrete products for the luxury bathroom market and a subsidiary of Kohler Co. This is an exceptional opportunity to be the group's recognised central authority on all marketing and business matters for product categories in the Kast portfolio.
In this role you will have the overall responsibility for Kast brand product categories and will be accountable for the marketing management and financial performance of the respective product lines globally. This will involve developing and implementing short-term marketing plans and long-term marketing strategies, consistent with the strategic and financial objectives of Kast and Kohler Co. You will also develop marketing plans and programs in support of profit objectives to include sales forecasts, customer marketing programs, pricing, and product line development plans.
Specific Responsibilities
1. Provide senior management with information and recommendations on the most profitable product strategies for the business.
2. Manage product prices, terms of sale and discounts recognising our objectives and our competition.
3. Manage all products throughout all stages of their life cycle, developing strategies for
development, introduction, continuing contribution, and discontinuance, while maximising their profitable existence and synergism with all products of the business.
4. Monitor current and anticipate future consumer needs and preferences.
Participate in supply chain initiatives to optimise product sourcing, manufacturing processes, and inventory management, identifying opportunities for cost savings and operational efficiencies.
5. Work in close contact with the wider marketing team to develop promotional plans, advertising campaigns, catalogues, brochures, displays, exhibits, and other support materials.
6. Collaborate with the Creative Director on product strategy, direction and prioritisation.
7. Create, execute, and maintain a product strategy to guide new product development
effortsfor the product categories. Full responsibility for coordinating the newproduct developmentprocess across all functional areas.
8. Closely monitor and steer all Engineering and Supply Chain activities concerned with new product or new technology development and product maintenance activities related to products.
9. Work on product forecasting and monitor activities of critical vendors.
10. Partner with the Sales and Customer Service team on product information changes.
11. Develop “Authorised Corporate Transaction” reports for new product introduction.
12. Develop a personal expertise on target global markets including a complete intelligence file on competitors’ products, pricing, field activity, customer service channels of market distribution and end-user preferences.
13. Partner with Design and Marketing teams on the development of effective packaging, advertising, sales and incentive programs, sales displays, trade show displays, and publicity programs for new products.
14. Provide Product Engineering with market preferences and trends on products considered for development or redesign.
15. Relate and recommend changes in established market distribution and strategy as necessitated by market, designer, and consumer preferences.
16. Coordinate the interpretation of plumbing codes and distribution of this information to the Sales team.
17. Seek legal advice from corporate counsel to ensure propriety of pricing mechanism, trademarks, product labelling, policies and contractual agreements.
Skills/Requirements
18. Bachelor's degree in marketing or related field.
19. At least 3 years of experience in product management, preferably in manufacturing
20. Proven track record of driving product marketing strategies and achieving financial targets.
21. Strong analytical skills and ability to translate data into actionable insights.
22. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across teams and influence key stakeholders.
23. Cross-functional experience.
24. Luxury product management experience.
25. Experience in a fast-paced environment
