The role will involve performing water analysis, collecting samples, calibration of equipment, fault-finding and repairs on pumps, panels and more. Essential duties and responsibilities: Provides service and support on site. Performs water analysis and/or collects samples for preparation, labelling and shipment to designated laboratory for analysis. Completes and distributes on-site reports based on any work carried out on site. Troubleshoots and repairs pumps, instruments and control panels. Calibrates instrumentation Conducts preventative maintenance on water treatment plant, chemical feed pumps, controllers and instrumentation. Maintains inventory of spare parts (lube oil, tubing, piping, etc.), and adequate supply of spare parts through ordering system. This is just a summed-up list of responsibilities and other duties will be required. Skills and Experience required: Experience in an industrial environment. Mechanical engineering experience Qualification in a relevant field such as Mechanical Engineering or Technical Chemistry or similar Experience in the water or chemical industry would be advantageous.
