About the Role: As our Process Team Leader, you will support the Process Supervisor in coordinating the daily activities of the process department. You will lead by example on the factory floor, ensuring production plans are delivered efficiently while maintaining the highest standards of food safety, quality, and team performance. You will play a key role in motivating and supporting process operatives to achieve production targets and meet departmental KPIs. Key Responsibilities Lead and support a team of process operatives to achieve daily production targets. Provide training and guidance on process procedures, food safety, and quality standards. Monitor production activities and ensure work is completed safely and efficiently. Assist in resolving production issues and escalating concerns when required. Promote and maintain Good Manufacturing Practice (GMP) standards. Support the achievement of labour efficiency, yield, waste, and productivity targets. Complete required production records and ensure accurate paperwork compliance. Work closely with supervisors and other departments to maintain smooth operations. Lead by example, actively working alongside operatives to achieve team objectives. Encourage a positive team culture focused on safety, quality, and continuous improvement. Key Accountabilities Supporting positive team performance and engagement. Meeting departmental KPI targets. Ensuring compliance with food safety, quality, and health & safety standards. Accurate completion of production documentation. Prompt reporting of issues, errors, and non-conformances. Knowledge, Skills and Experience Required Essential: Previous experience in a food manufacturing environment. Experience working within a production team and supporting colleagues. Good communication and organisational skills. Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment. Understanding of KPI-driven production operations. Desirable: Experience within the meat processing or bakery industry. Previous team leader or senior operative experience. Food Safety Level 2 or Level 3 qualification.
