Quantity Surveyor - Hybrid Working | County AntrimAn established and progressive Design & Build contractor based in County Antrim is seeking an experienced Quantity Surveyor to join its growing commercial team.Offering hybrid working (up to 2 days per week from home), this is an excellent opportunity to work on a diverse range of construction projects while developing your career within a supportive and forward-thinking environment.Working closely with an experienced Commercial Manager, you will take commercial responsibility for 1-2 projects at a time, gaining exposure to both pre-construction and project delivery stages.Key responsibilities will include:Managing project costs across a variety of new-build developments and structuresUndertaking cost planning, forecasting, and cost analysisAdvising on procurement and commercial strategiesParticipating in design team meetings and providing buildability inputSupporting feasibility studies and helping define client requirementsIdentifying and managing project risks while delivering value-engineering solutionsMonitoring project budgets and implementing effective cost-control measuresProviding commercial and contractual advice, including the assessment of claimsAbout YouThe successful candidate will have:A degree in Quantity Surveying or a related disciplineA minimum of 3-4 years' experience in a Quantity Surveying role with a main contractor or Design & Build contractorExperience working on construction projects valued in excess of £2 millionStrong commercial awareness and a proactive approach to problem-solvingExcellent communication and stakeholder management skillsWhat's on Offer?In return, you will benefit from:A competitive salary packageHybrid working flexibility (up to 2 days working from home)Healthcare and pension schemeGenerous holiday entitlementOngoing professional development and support towards Chartered statusClear opportunities for career progression within a growing businessA collaborative and supportive working environmentThis is an excellent opportunity for a motivated Quantity Surveyor looking to join a company that values its people, invests in their development, and offers genuine long-term career prospects.For more information or to discuss in confidence, please contact Michelle Doran at CSR on .
