Key Responsibilities:
* To work as part of a team to build a highly relevant and distinctive curriculum to meet local/regional skills requirements.
* Develop and deliver engaging lessons tailored to individual learner needs.
* Foster a positive and inclusive classroom environment.
* Create course/programme activities to support student understanding of objectives, assessment schedules, and requirements in line with awarding body criteria.
Please note that this is a temporary appointment to cover maternity leave until 31st August 2026.
Many of our temporary staff go on to secure permanent roles – this could be your step into a career with EKC Group.
A Curriculum Lead/Programme Director role may be considered for candidates with the required experience and qualifications. This opportunity offers valuable experience as a curriculum leader, supporting ongoing CPD. The role generally attracts a higher salary.
If you are an internal candidate, there may be an opportunity for secondment, which can be discussed.

* Lead and coordinate the delivery team to ensure all students receive up-to-date course information.
* Create course activities supporting student understanding of objectives, assessment schedules, and requirements, including the course handbook.

About You:
* Highly organized and creative
* Able to plan and deliver engaging lessons
* Excellent interpersonal skills
* Ability to assess and track student progress
* Plan impactful interventions to support student success
You will inspire learners through well-planned sessions and build positive relationships. Previous teaching experience is advantageous but not essential; full training and support are provided. A positive outlook, empathy, and strong classroom management are key.

Additional Information:
Our positions have two salary scale points. All start at the introductory level unless criteria are met. Internal candidates may qualify for a higher scale after a full academic year of teaching, subject to approval.
